MINISTERIAL LICENSE

   As much as it can, the Mississippi District Biblical Apostolic Organization in these difficult days, will strive to be like the Original Judaic-Christian Church found in Acts two.  That original assembly in Jerusalem was full and throbbing with the Holy Ghost, they lived a holy life, they revered the Name of Jesus Christ and held the principle of one-Godism as in Deut. 6:4.  We welcome all true one-God, Jesus Name, Apostolic believers into our fellowship.  If you are a Minister in need of fellowship of clean Apostolic Brethren or a legal license, feel free to contact one of our District Leaders. 

LOCAL LICENSE

   A Local License may be issued to a Minister that is obeying a call of God on his life.  One must be be at least 15 years of age.  One must comply with the BAO Manual and the Holy Scriptures and have a ligament call on his life.  Before obtaining a local license, he must have preached at least twelve sermons.  He must understand that he is a beginner or novice.  He should study habitually and consider contacting the Biblical Apostolic University for further training.  A degree in Theology is not an absolute must, but does show preparation for the ministry.  He needs to establish a sincere walk with God, prayer life and live a holy life.  He needs to find a good Apostolic Pastor and be subordinate to him.  He needs to preach as often as occasions allow and prepare for the day he may become a leader or Pastor.  He must try to promote unity in his local Church and be a help to his Pastor.  He should become a soul winner for the Lord not a trouble maker.  He must understand that he is the lowest in rank in the Ministry, but he is an important part of the Brethren and can be a great help.  Local License Ministers can not Pastor, perform a marriage or funeral.  He must promote unity, the Holy Scriptures, Apostolic Doctrine and go by the BAO Manual. 

GENERAL LICENSE

   A General License may be issued to a Minister with more experience than a Local Licensed Minister, one that has proven himself faithful, one that has actually; Pastored a Church, still Pastors a Church, involved in Evangelism for a period of time, or an Assistant Pastor.  A General Licensed Minister is a lower ranking Elder and must realize that an Ordained Minister or Pastor out ranks him.  He can Pastor, perform a marriage or funeral.  He needs to study, live holy and stay prayed up.  To hold a General License one must be at least 21 years of age.  He must promote unity, the Scriptures, Apostolic Doctrine and go by the BAO Manual.    

ORDINATION LICENSE

   To be an Ordained Minister one must have been involved in the Minisitry for a number years.  He can not be a novice.  An Ordained Minister should seek to Pastor a Church if he is not already.  Ordained Apostolic Ministers must understand that with a higher rank and authority there also comes greater responsibility.  The Ordained Minister, Elder or Pastor is responsible for the spiritual well being of the Saints under his charge.  An Ordained Minister must be a mentally stable and mature person.  He must have a good relation with his wife and she should also be a good example to the women of the Church.  He must not be willing to compromise Biblical truth.  He must be at least 26 years of age.  He must set a good example for the world, the Saints and his junior officers, the Local and General License Ministers.  He must also live a holy life and continue to study the Word of God.  He must have a good spirit and show the love of God, promote unity, the Scriptures, Apostolic Doctrine and go by the BAO Manual.

   The above information gives general requirements for licensing with the BAO.
